Head Coach Paul Beurck

Coach Paul Buerck has been coaching competitive swimming since 1984. Coach Paul has coaches over 6,000 athletes from Novice to National Level qualifiers. Over 80 current and former Barracudas have received scholarships to college for swimming and academics.
Coach Paul has been the Head Coach, Owner and CEO of the Monmouth Barracudas since 1994. Coach Paul is currently completing his ASCA Level four certification.  Coach Paul has coached in many countries around the world including Venezuela, Bermuda, Australia, and Canada. He has taken the Barracudas to Australia, California, Hawaii, Florida, Bermuda and countless meets in New York, and Pennsylvania.
Coach Paul is a graduate of Montclair State and has been teaching in Ocean Township for the last 19 years.
 
Coach Paul is an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Lakewood Blueclaws fan and is also a big fan of Penn State football and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
 
Coach Paul  has a great love for the sport of swimming and a passion for working with all of his swimmers.
Sharing his experiences and  knowledge he has gained is the most satisfying part.
Coach Paul loves to watch his swimmer develop into a complete athlete and individual . Helping to establish discipline,sportsmanship,integrity, responsibility, and a tremendous work ethic as well as helping his swimmers learn how to cope with success and failure and to make the right choices in swimming and life is one of Coach Paul's main goals.
